Find & Follow Jesus, Quarter 1ഉദാഹരണം
Week 7
(Exodus 29–40, Leviticus 1–2, Psalm 18–20, Acts 16–22)
Devotional
In the final chapters of Exodus, the Israelites quickly forget God’s provision. They complain about the food He miraculously provided, and when they grow impatient waiting for Moses, they create a golden calf to worship. It’s easy to look at their actions and think, I would never be that unfaithful. Yet every day, we face the same temptation to trust our fears, pursue comfort, or pridefully choose our ways over God’s.
Even when we are unfaithful, God remains true to His covenant. He doesn’t abandon us but continues to extend grace and call us back to Him. Living for our own desires may feel easy, but Psalm 19:7 reminds us that “the law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.” Trusting God’s provision and timing is foundational to our faith, leading us to a life of true peace and renewal.
Prayer
Two things that can easily pull our focus away from God are fear and comfort. Take time to tell God about your biggest fears and why they trouble you. Could those fears reveal a lack of trust in His faithfulness? Also, consider where you might be chasing comfort instead of leaning on God’s provision. Ask Him to help you trust His timing and guidance, even when it challenges your desire for control or ease.

Follow our quarterly plans to read through the entire Bible in one year, plus a bonus round through the Gospels and Romans. Each day has one verse we encourage you to write down, journal about, or memorize, and then you can read sections from both the Old Testament and New Testament. Every week we provide an additional devotional for further discussion on that week's themes.
