Week 26. Day 4. Zechariah 11-14.

As we did yesterday, continue to pay particular attention to verses that are quoted in the NT regarding Jesus and his ministry, but try to do so in context of the whole book, and see how that gives a richer perspective on them.

• Zech 11:12-13 God / a faithful shepherd insultingly paid off for 30 pieces of silver (Matt 27:9-10).
• Zech 12:10 Mourning for the one they have pierced (John 19:37).
• Zech 13:7 The shepherd struck, the sheep scattered (Matt 26:31, Mark 14:27)
