Fearless Motherhoodഉദാഹരണം
Fear of The Times
I’d be dishonest if I claimed I wasn't concerned about the direction society is taking. With the prevalence of violence, wars (or rumors of wars), environmental chaos, and the moral decay of our world, raising kids in these times can feel daunting. As mothers, it's innate to worry about our children’s safety and the world they’ll inherit. Nonetheless, yielding to fear in our parenting will only lead us to withdraw and shelter our kids—hindering them from impacting the world and becoming all God created them to be.
The Bible states, "...greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4b). Despite the darkness surrounding us, we have the Greater One within us. Our children are akin to arrows in our hands, poised to do damage against the kingdom of darkness. We must remain steadfast in prayer, seeking God’s wisdom on how to effectively guard and train our children amidst these turbulent times. As we trust in God’s protection, we can receive overwhelming peace, viewing Him as our ultimate hope and sanctuary. We were born for such a time as this, and God made no mistake when He entrusted us with the task of raising the next generation. So don't be fearful, Mom; you and your children are a force to be reckoned with.
Prayer,
Father, thank You for Your promise to safeguard those who place their trust in You. I relinquish my fears and anxieties, and I embrace Your perfect peace. You are our refuge and defender; we have nothing to fear. I ask that You give me courage, wisdom, and discernment to train up my children as warriors for Your kingdom, standing firm against the enemy. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
