Earlier in the week we read about the vision of the pregnant woman battling the dragon. Today we are reading a new vision with two monsters who enslave people, marking them with the infamous 666. I strongly encourage you not to get caught up in all the conspiracies and theories about those numbers. What we know for sure is that 7 is an important theme in this book because it means completion (like the Sabbath on the 7th day). So, the monsters marking people with the number 6, is like a parody about being incomplete. If you follow the way of the beast, you are never satisfied. If you follow God, you are made whole.
