Jesus. : Trusting Jesus First, Only, Now, and Alwaysഉദാഹരണം
Andrew was one of the Twelve apostles chosen by Jesus to help Him in His ministry in a special way. Before he met Jesus, Andrew followed John the Baptist around while John encouraged people to let God be their boss and baptized the ones who planned to obey God. As soon as John the Baptist told Andrew Who Jesus was, Andrew went to find Jesus and spent the day with Him.
The next thing Andrew did was find his brother Peter and tell him that Jesus was the Messiah. Then Andrew took Peter to Jesus. Andrew could have waited until he knew Jesus better to tell Peter about him, but he didn’t. Andrew could have waited for Peter to go find Jesus on his own, but he didn’t.
Andrew trusted that Jesus was the real deal, so he acted on that faith even though it would have been easier to do things another way, and it’s a good thing he did. Peter went on to become one of Jesus’s trusted Three (Peter, James, and John) and a leader of the early church. If Andrew had not made the effort to introduce Peter to Jesus, Peter might not have served Jesus in the special way He did.
Andrew made a habit out of living by faith in Jesus. When Jesus told His disciples to feed 5,000 hungry people, one disciple was intimidated by the potential cost, but Andrew started looking for ways to make it happen. Jesus used the little bit of food Andrew found to perform a miracle. When we trust Jesus to be Who He says He is and to do what He says He can do, people are blessed. When we do our part in connecting them to Jesus, their lives can be changed forever.

Life is confusing and overwhelming at times. We wish there was a simple answer to our questions and problems, so why do we resist when people say, “What you need is Jesus”? Truth? “Jesus” isn’t just a church answer to church questions. As members of the early church discovered, Jesus is the answer you’re looking for. He really is what you need. Period.
