Enter Your Day With Intention

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. PSALM 139:13 ESV

At this moment, the breath that rises and falls inside your lungs, the blood that courses through your veins, and the heart that pulses against your chest are all signs that your body is awake and you are alive. Through the waves of pressure you thought might overtake you, you are here and very much alive. The constant rhythm of your body is a reminder of this innate resilience.

When we think about our bodies and the intricacies of how we function, from the networking of our brains to the design of the tiniest cell, we get the picture that our Creator is in the details and that every part of us is worthy of our attention.

Still, disconnecting from God and ourselves can be all too easy when we’ve been pulled into the day's demands. So permit yourself to pause at this moment to reconnect with your breath and realign with your priorities and convictions. What matters most today? How do you want to move through this day?
