Everything in It

God made the world and everything in it. Sometimes it feels like things are out of control. We must remember that God made everything; mere men can’t contain or even fully understand him. We are created. He is the Creator. We place our trust in His holy name because He is worthy, trustworthy, good, and faithful.

His Word declares his glory, and our earth declares his might. From sunset and the pounding ocean waves to the vast snow-capped mountains, look around and witness creation proclaiming His majesty. Our phones and the media seem to place fear and stress in our hearts, but if we look at everything God has created, our hearts can be quieted. We can find calmness and rest in God’s grace.

Reflect: Try to look around more today at all God created. He lives in you and me. Seek his presence today.

Prayer: Jesus, I praise your name for all you have created. Your glory is all around me. Thank you for your beauty. Amen.
