Finding My Way Home: A Journey to Discover Hope and a Life of Purposeഉദാഹരണം
The Kingdom of Faith is Your Home
It may seem an intangible idea to find your home in Christ. We know what a physical house looks like, and you may even know what “home” feels like. But what does it mean to make your home in God’s Kingdom?
God’s Word is His heart, and the best way to know His heart is to read, study, and meditate on His Word as if it is God talking directly to us. There’s plenty of room in His heart for all of us to find our way home.
We have talked about connecting with God’s people, reading His Word, hearing His Voice, and following His direction during our time together. Our entire faith journey begins with knowing who we are and where we belong. We talked about our identity in Christ and that knowledge places us in a family, in a home, so we no longer wander.
When Jesus died for us and rose from the dead, He permanently removed the separation between God and us. We now have direct access to who He is. Additionally, God now makes His home within us. We don’t have to go searching for a sense of belonging. It’s right here for the taking.
I have known God for many years now, and this is still a miraculous concept to me. God makes His home in me and invites me to do the same with Him. This revelation gives me peace and rest beyond anything I’ve ever known.
I am continually learning more about who He is and His plans for me. But, I know for sure that He 100% accepts me as I am and loves me unconditionally. I know this about you as well.
As you think about these concepts, what is most incredible to you? Can you express to God your thankfulness?
