The Other Five Prayer Journeyഉദാഹരണം
DAY TWELVE
Acts 26:29 (NKJV) "Then Agrippa said to Paul: "You almost persuade me to be a Christian."
Antony* is one of THE OTHER FIVE who we have yet to reach. But we are praying, and he is drawing close.
Antony comes from an atheist background. His family does not believe in God. A couple of our guy students met Antony over a year ago on the UASD university campus and struck up a friendship. They invited him to attend their weekly small group, and to their surprise, he accepted!
As they studied Scripture and discussed life with Jesus, he did not participate in the group conversations. But later in one-on-one times with the leader, he began to open up and share his cultural perspectives. Their friendship grew, and Antony began visiting our Puente Center with these guys and getting to know other Christ followers. He would avoid being present during the midweek Conversations gathering where he knew we would study the Word, but he began to participate in other activities, and serve in volunteer projects with our students. This semester, he joined another small group, continued to hang out at Puente, and actually chose to participate in a campus prayer walk and an evangelism activity with one of our Missionary Associates. He listened to her share the 5 points of the Gospel with several students that day.
He remains one of THE OTHER FIVE, but with your prayers, we are sure that the time is drawing close to when we see Antony choose a personal relationship with Jesus!

Prayer: Lord, we ask You today for those who are "drawing close" and who are "almost persuaded." We pray that Your Holy Spirit will finish this work He has begun through those of us who already believe and who have shown a willingness to stand in the gap for THE OTHER FIVE. Draw them ever closer with each passing moment until the day they also proclaim You as Savior and Lord. In Your name, we ask this. Amen.

The Other Five are the 5 out of 6 people in Latin America Caribbean that are not yet disciples of Jesus. The soul care decisions regarding them should be guided by the Lord of the Harvest, the One that truly cares most for every soul. The One that cares most should be foremost in determining where the focus should be directed as we PRAY, GO, AND GIVE.
