How to Stop Self-Sabotaging Your Succesഉദാഹരണം
Stopping Self Sabotage forever:
Do not fail to celebrate how far you have come
As a doer, and go-getter, or a “list person”, it is easy to focus on the tasks at hand and wanting to see the results. But you can quickly feel like a failure when victories do not come fast enough.
You have to learn to PAUSE. Bring your thoughts to a halt. Recognize the minor victories.
- If your goal is a physical transformation, celebrate each good day when you did not cheat with sweets and confectionery or you made the effort to exercise for a few minutes.
- If you started a business; celebrate each sale, commit to having excellent client after-care. Build relationships with your customers. It is easier to retain an existing client than having to source a new client.
- If you are writing a novel, celebrate each completed chapter.
- If you are stopping bad habits, for example, totally quitting the consumption of alcohol; praise yourself each time you thought of entering the liquor store but chose to drive on, or each time you drank a soda instead.
You have to see the blessing in the journey, not just the final destination.
Reflect in Prayer
Jesus, make me mindful of the small victories. Thank you for the compound effect being in motion, and I declare that the small wins will soon turn into massive breakthroughs and ultimately the realization of my dreams and goals. Thank you for guiding me every day; I love you. Amen
