Wisdom is so crucial to a believer’s life that a whole book of the Bible is devoted to it. Proverbs reminds us to seek wisdom from God and that we are happy when we find true wisdom. Where do we find it? Through Christ alone. Through the resources God has given us: His holy and living Word, prayer, and the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us.

Think about the last few difficult decisions you had to make in your life. Did you make them based on your own wisdom from past experiences and emotions or did you come before the Lord asking for his wisdom?
