Who Is Jesus?
It is that magical time of year again. Family and Friends gather round a roaring fire, sing carols, drink eggnog, and admire the twinkling lights that adorn the freshly cut Christmas tree. As the temperature drops and the days get shorter we bundle up and set out for the local shopping mall to find that perfect gift. We no doubt spend countless hours, and dollars, during the Christmas season. While all of the above makes for a joyous season, except for the countless dollars spent, are we putting all of our energy into the wrong things this time of year?
Before we understand the origin of Christmas, we need to first understand WHOM it is that we celebrate on Christmas.
Reflection
Do you know the Jesus of the Bible? Have you experienced Him in your life? Don’t let this year pass without learning more about who Jesus is and what He has done for you. While we celebrate His birth at Christmas, we must also remember His death and resurrection as well. Christ died so that you could be saved.
