Love God Greatly: To Do Justice, To Love Kindness, To Walk Humblyഉദാഹരണം
May I be sincere and tell you what my problem is with Micah? It makes me think about my own sin. Sin is a word that has disappeared from the vocabulary of many Christians. We overlook “small” sins or disguise them as “trends.” If everybody does it, it must be right!
Wrong.
Micah also makes me think about my own obedience to God. Is my life different from the life of the people of Israel? I can't thank God enough for living under grace because the deeper I investigate my sin, the more sin I find.
“One day God will gather the unbelieving Jewish nation to their land, cause them to experience suffering, and then reveal Himself to them and give birth to a new nation. The prophets saw that day and tried to convey its message to the people of their day, but they wouldn’t listen.” Wiersbe, Warren, Be Concerned
How many times have we seen in the book of Micah that the people wouldn't listen? I don't want to be like that. I don't want to be warned and shut my ears.
Oh God, please help me. Your Word is so clear about telling me how I have to live! Help me listen to You carefully and be aware of my sin. God, clean my heart and help me obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We are surrounded by injustice and pain. We see it not only in our world but also in our own lives and it can be disheartening and overwhelming. But we are not without hope. This is what Micah is all about. He is not afraid to get in our face about some hard topics like sin and judgement.
