A Bunny, Eggs & Jesus? Help Kids Untangle The Easter Messageഉദാഹരണം
Empty Tomb = Full Hearts!
Today we celebrate the empty tomb! The account of Jesus’ death ends in victory—victory over sin and death! That is the message of Easter Sunday.
Why is the resurrection of Jesus an essential element to our salvation?
- The resurrection proves God’s power! Only the God who created life can resurrect it. In Jesus’ resurrection, God reminds us of His power over life and death.
- The resurrection validates who Jesus claimed to be. Jesus repeatedly claimed to be God and His power over death is irrefutable proof. He claimed that He would be raised to life again and His claims were proven true.
- The resurrection makes our eternal life possible. In John 11:25, Jesus claimed, “…I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” Jesus resurrection makes our eternal life possible. He gives life. He is life. Death has no power over Him. Those of us who believe in Him will one day live with Him forever.
Today we celebrate because Jesus’ tomb is empty! His resurrection proves that God accepted His sacrifice on our behalf. He conquered death and gave us life.
Are you celebrating His resurrection today as a child of God or as an onlooker? Have you accepted His free gift of salvation, guaranteeing eternal life with your Savior? If not, we encourage you to believe today.
