Turning Off the Noise: When to Be Silent
The Israelites have been delivered from Egyptian slavery, but now Pharaoh and his armies are pursuing them. The Red Sea is in front of them. It seems there is no escape.
When they complain to Moses, he explains to them that they are not to fear. “Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord.” “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
