Fruit of the Spirit Christmas Planಮಾದರಿ
Day 7: Faithfulness
“Therefore, I will praise you with a harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing to you with a lyre, Holy One of Israel.” (Psalms 71:22)
“Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.” (Proverbs 3:3)
God’s Plan: Faithfulness embodies loyalty and trustworthiness, reflecting God’s unchanging nature. God desires our steadfast commitment to Him, to others, and to His Word. Through faithfulness, He enables us to be dependable in relationships, build strong communities, and inspire others to remain true to their commitments.
Description: Loyalty, reliability, and trustworthiness; keeping commitments and being dependable.
Activity idea: Family Trust Game
Play a simple trust-building game like "trust falls" or "blindfolded obstacle courses" to reinforce faithfulness and support.
Example of Fruit in everyday life: Following through on promises made to friends or family, and consistently being present and supportive during their times of need.
Arts and crafts: God’s Promises Rainbow
Materials: Paper in various colors (for the rainbow), cotton balls (for clouds), glue, markers, a piece of cardstock or poster paper, printed or written Bible promises (optional: verses about God's faithfulness, like Lamentations 3:22-23).
Cut strips of colored paper to form a rainbow and glue them in an arc shape onto the poster. Glue cotton balls on each end of the rainbow to represent clouds. On each color strip, have everyone write a promise from the Bible or words like "Hope," "Love," "Protection," etc, to show how God remains faithful. Talk about how a rainbow is a sign of God’s promise and we can trust His faithfulness.
This rainbow serves as a visual reminder that God is faithful to us, helping us to be faithful in our own lives by keeping promises and staying true to our words.
Make a small book where each family member writes promises or commitments to each other, emphasizing loyalty and faithfulness.
Eating together: Family Recipe Night
Cook a family recipe that has been passed down through generations, honoring the faithfulness of traditions.
Today’s Prayer: Grant me the strength to remain faithful in all circumstances. May my actions and decisions be grounded in unwavering faith, trusting in Your guidance and promises.

About this Plan
Christmas is a wonderful opportunity to make this season spiritually meaningful by giving and receiving gifts that last, gifts that bring joy to others and leave a lasting impact on our hearts. After all, we celebrate the kingdom of Christ and the redemptive story and are reminded of the greatest gift we have ever received, namely Jesus Christ. What a stunning, overwhelming, amazing, incomprehensible, and great Gift it is! His best gift to us is our redemption, but while we are still in this world, He offers us His Spirit to help shape our behaviour and make a difference.
