God’s Compassion

"Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail" - Lamentations 3:22.

The Promise: God’s compassion never fails.

Praise God for His great love! It expands farther than the ends of the earth, deeper than the pools of the ocean. His faithfulness reaches to the sky. Over and again, His compassion drives His grace towards you, and the LORD’s great love protects and surrounds you. However deep your sorrow may seem, however dark the night, you will not be consumed; the LORD, your great Shepherd, is ushering you through with fierce protection and gentle care.

Try This: Savor your meal

Take a meal or a snack and eat slowly. Chew more than you usually do, taste the food, and let the flavors pop and combine in your mouth. Take another bite, slowly. Appreciate where the food came from, what it took to get to your plate. Notice the different textures and colors. Pay attention and savor.
