God is Faithful

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful" - Hebrews 10:23.

In the middle of our storm, it’s hard to see out of it. We begin to wonder whether God really does have us like He says He does.

Questions and panic can set in: Is this my new normal? Will I always feel like everything is out of control? How can I ever trust my mind and heart again? But in these questions, we can also look back at previous seasons of struggle and remember how God brought us through. By reflecting on God’s faithfulness to us then, we can believe that He will stay faithful now.

Throughout history, we can look at where God showed up for His people. This is His character, and His loyalty does not waver. God is faithful to His children. He sees where you are at this moment, and He hasn’t left.

Remember when you asked these very same questions the last time the storm rolled in?

• What happened?
• What did God do?
• How did you see His fingerprints?

While you walk through this turmoil, turn your trust to the Lord. We can look behind us and see how God has held us in His steady hand all along.

Remember: God is faithful.
