God Will Strengthen

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one" - 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

The Promise: My God will strengthen and protect me.

Know this: The Lord will never fail you. It is not in His character to walk away or make a wrong decision or commit to anything that hurts you. The Lord is faithful. Look at your life up until now. He has seen you through. He has come through when you desperately needed Him to. He has made a way where there was absolutely no way. And He will do it again. It’s His nature. He never fails, He never stops moving on behalf of His children, and His love for you will always be your strength and protection.

Try This: Practice saying “no”

It can be hard, but sometimes we overload ourselves because we feel guilty saying anything but yes to requests. But take a look at your life and your major buckets that you invest your time and energy into.

• What do you realistically have capacity for?
• What is causing added stress and anxiety that you could remove and help balance your calm?
• Try saying no to something that wouldn’t be life giving for you in this season and stand on your decision.
