Grace of God: 5-Day Devotional Plan

DAY 3 OF 5

The greatest miracle we can ever experience is that God chose to humble Himself, taking on human form as Jesus Christ. No other deity has ever stepped off their throne to help their creation. In His shoes of humility, He walked, felt, and now understands our struggles. Now, that is grace!

While many see God as distant or impersonal, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Through Jesus, God personally engaged with us. He now empathizes with our pain, comprehends our inner workings, and guides us toward victory. Our humanity doesn’t scare Him. Having someone who truly knows us in this way is incomparable.

Our sense of hopelessness is not without hope. Our brokenness lacks no potential for wholeness. Even our failures are not without purpose. God weaves all these threads into a tapestry of human frailty interwoven with His abundant grace. His heart is tendering inclined toward those who are lost and struggling.

He extends an invitation to see his help, going to his heavenly throne to find mercy and the grace to help us when we need it most. We often overlook God's grace because we fail to seek it in our moments of despair, yet it remains richly available to us. So instead of pulling away, draw near to the One who knows us, understands us, and comes to help us.
