DAY 5 OF 25

What does it look like to bear fruit in our everyday lives? For most of us, we understand the importance of connecting with Jesus, making sure to take time each day to learn more about Him through His words and parables. But what does that have to do with bearing fruit? Fruit is just another way of saying that when we have a true connection with Jesus, it’s something that others can see in us. We show the fruit of our connection with God when we have patience with our coworkers, are honest with some hard truths to our family members, and when we show kindness to people who may not be kind to us in return.

The opposite can be true when we don’t take the time to establish a meaningful relationship with Jesus. We may still be kind and patient with others, but others may not see Jesus reflected in our actions. Bearing fruit means being intentional with the things we say and do. What is one place in your life where you want to bear more fruit and reflect God to others? It can be in the workplace, in your neighborhood, or even in your church community. What are some things you can say and do to help show the fruit of your relationship with Jesus Christ to those around you?

About this Plan

Everyday

When it comes to our relationship with God, habits can take on a huge role. They can work to help us stay consistently connected to Him, or become distractions that keep our minds focused on what we want and not on what God wants for our lives. We’ll take a look at how being consistent with our spiritual habits helps us maintain a close relationship with our Savior.
