Beyond: Living UnshakableSample

God desires we be unshakable in our love. God so loved the world He gave Jesus Christ, His one and only Son, so humanity would not perish but have eternal life. What a wonderful love our Creator has for us! God desires we freely and abundantly receive His love by accepting Salvation, and walking in love for Him.

The first and greatest commandment is mentioned both in Old and New Testaments: You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. The Lord takes great delight in lavishing His unfailing love upon those who love Him in return, and then follow His leading. Scripture tells us He showers unfailing love for A THOUSAND GENERATIONS on those who love Him. Thank You, Lord!

Today, sit with the Lord and allow Him to search your heart for a moment. Be encouraged to ask:

God, in what ways might You be calling me to receive more of Your love?

How might Holy Spirit be calling me to grow in my love for the Lord?

Where might You be calling me to a deeper love in my heart, soul, mind and strength?

With God’s grace and Holy Spirit leading, resolve to grow beyond comfort zones and live unshakable by determining to be more intentional about growing in your love for Jesus.

Prayer: I pray Ephesians 3:17 over your life as you read this devotion, today. I ask for your heart, soul, mind and strength roots, to grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. May you be so deeply rooted in God, who is Love, you grow increasingly unshakable in the days, weeks, months and year to come. In Jesus’s Name, amen.
