Living in the New

DAY 5 OF 6

The old has gone, the NEW has come

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have life and life eternal.

This good news is the plan that God executed to bring you back into what you were originally made for–to be leaders who would steward Creation.

Adam's fall brought upon us all the Sin that we didn’t do; we inherited it. And we all were subject to the punishment of sin - Death. God couldn’t take that, so He came down to take all the death upon himself as the price for our sin, so that we can be brought back into our original place with Him.

Adam, our physical father, gave us to sin as our inheritance. But the moment we receive Christ, He becomes our Father, and thus we are bequeathed righteousness overwriting Adam's sin in us. Just as we didn’t do anything to sin, we didn’t do anything to become righteous. The Bible says we’re made the righteous of God in Christ through faith. Isn’t that amazing? That means we are no longer fallen, no longer subject to the things of the fallen nature. No disease, no sickness, no word or anything that forms against us shall prosper because the god of this air might be satan, but the One inside of us is Greater than the one in the world.

The old has gone, the new has come. It is new every day. We are always being made new, and this perpetual covenant that we have with Christ is our key to Life. Don’t forget who you are!

We are so often reminded of who we were that we forget what Christ did for us in the now, and we forget that its eternal and perpetual.

We fall back into thinking we are sinners again, but NO! The Good News is so good that it can be hard to believe. Come now, believers, hold on to the truth.

You are made Righteous. And that’s the Grace of God. We are no longer Fallen.

About this Plan

Living in the New

Until we go to our eternal destiny, we live our lives here on this earth, the other side of heaven. In this Bible plan, Sarat Yellasiri describes the power that Christ has left with us to live this life to the fullest. But unfortunately, we aren't aware of how to do this. Embark on a journey to see a fuller picture to greatly understand the things of God.
