Living in the New

DAY 4 OF 6

How badly did we fall?

Sin was by far the biggest problem God had. Just as it is impossible for light to mix with darkness, so is it impossible for God to be mixed with sin. He is absolute righteousness. Adam's choice of rebellion to God’s one command had cost him his righteousness. And as a result, he couldn’t be with God. Thus, all mankind fell. We inherited sin; that’s why we were born sinners.

This Fall was so big because it kidnapped us from Him. Separated us from the author of life; we could no longer draw life from Him–death entered. Every kind of disease, sickness, deterioration, decay, rot were just pictures of our separation from the author of life.

God's heart broke, he couldn’t bear to see his own children so far away when His desire is to love us and minister to us. But we could not be joined with God in fellowship. Light cannot mix with darkness.

Satan, the invader had become the god of this world by taking Adam's place, becoming the god of the air.

This fall was so bad that creation fell against its will. Creation was subject to calamities because of this fall.

Imagine! There would be no death, no disasters if not for that fall.

But there was hope; because God so loved this world, there is Good news for those who are listening.

God, in His love for us, had a rescue plan. A plan that would allow us back into His presence again, a plan that would cost God, Himself. Redeemed from the death, sickness and sin, bought fully into Life and Everything good.

So, how much do we know about this Good news?

Day 3Day 5

About this Plan

Living in the New

Until we go to our eternal destiny, we live our lives here on this earth, the other side of heaven. In this Bible plan, Sarat Yellasiri describes the power that Christ has left with us to live this life to the fullest. But unfortunately, we aren't aware of how to do this. Embark on a journey to see a fuller picture to greatly understand the things of God.
