21 Days To A Teenager’s Spiritual ChangeSample
Life with No Windup
Let's imagine for a moment that your close friend is cheating you. You hate it, you don't agree with it, but this person is really close to you, so you find strength to still love them. However, you realize that their attitude, regardless of your loving strength, influences your trust toward this person. After some time, it gets too difficult and you are no longer as close as you used to be. Your relationship is over . . .
Your relationship with God might look a similar way. When the bond with Him is based on truth, you can walk in His presence everyday and you can enjoy it in any moment. When it is not based on truth, it is just a fake relationship, since only living in truth has power to strengthen closeness and intimacy.
Do you have integrity in your Christian toolkit? Are you honest? Do you wear a mask, or even several masks? Do you live in truth with no windup? Look at yourself and answer those key questions.
Prayer: God, thank you that with you I can live in truth and enjoy an honest life. Help me to live in truth and be honest in all circumstances. Amen.
Challenge: Have you ever lied to anyone? Do you lie when you talk about yourself? Do you always act the same regardless of the circumstances? Today is the time to explain some things, make them straight, apologize, and become an honest person. Be yourself and live a truthful life!
