# Confessing Christ ## Daily Thought: > For the last few days, the focus of confession has been inward and reflective. In Romans 10, however, Paul writes of another essential component of confession—confessing Christ himself. In this way, Paul instructs us to confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he has conquered the grave. This confession leads not only to a changed life but also to a changed eternity. ## Scripture Excerpt: > Romans 10:9-10, ESV > because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
