Life Experiences: Lessons From the Book of LukeSýnishorn
Does Jesus know you?
We may think we are with Jesus in our lives, we may think we are hearing His Words and learning from those. We maybe thinking we are in a church already, hearing every sermon, attending every Bible study and serving in the ministries. And we may think we are with Jesus but He said otherwise:
1. He said only those whom He KNOWS can enter His Kingdom or will be under His reign. Only those who are having an intimate relationship with Him, because they have recognized that they cannot do anything of their being sinners and that He personally took their terrible punishment for that...A manifestation of an unconditional love.
2. And because of that recognition they are the ones who take Him as the CEO of their lives so they DO, out of free-willing love, the good things that He would like them to do, being their boss, who knows what is the best for them.
Are you one of them?
Prayer for Today: God my life's boss thank You for telling me today that my being in the church and listening to every sermon, and maybe serving You isn't the reason for me to enter into Your Kingdom but by You knowing me. Lord it can only happen when I choose to recognize Your Son as my Savior and Lord.
Please let me be reminded of that everyday of my life so that my knowledge and intimacy with You may deepen. In Jesus name...
