Life Experiences: Lessons From the Book of Luke

DAY 3 OF 10

A Troubled Life Changed

The life story of the demon-possessed person whom Jesus met in a town near the Lake of Galilee was deranged and disordered. When Jesus came into his life, he was freed from that troubled life, it became calm, ordered and quiet. After which, Jesus asked him to tell others, especially those who didn’t like Jesus, what did He do to him. So when Jesus came back to their town, He found those people very expectant and happy to see him.

In the same way when our lives are possessed by selfish evil-thoughts, by negativism and by the bad concerns of life, it is purposeless and uncontrolled. But when you allow God, through Jesus, to come and fix it, it will become harmonious, organized and systematic.

After Jesus' intervention in your life, He will ask you to go back to where you were before, to tell others about the story on how much God did to you. When you do so those people who maybe repulsive of God would listen to your story and would look forward for Him to come into their lives too.
There is no better story to hear but a personal evidence of God's goodness in your life.

Prayer for Today: Lord God, my life was very troublesome before. I got lost of Your hold yet You re-controlled it and made it in order again. I saw tremendous harmony and blessings in it now!

Out of that You made me become concern of the people who maybe going through the troubles as I was and You allowed me to help some of them. Now Lord I pray that those whom I helped look-forward for Your intervention in their lives and that they may welcome You with open arms too. In Jesus name!
