Pray for Him - 5 Days of Prayer for the Salvation of Friends and FamilySýnishorn
A few years ago, I received an invitation to join an all-Christian soccer team. I was excited and attended all the training sessions, trying my best to be able to play in the first game. However, on the day of the game, the coach decided not to include me in the starting lineup, and I had to watch the game from the bench. During the 90 minutes, I longed for the opportunity to get on the field. I hadn't trained just to be a bench warmer.
All Christians have also been invited to be part of a team. This team mission is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. As Christians, we should be excited about this invitation and not miss any training (discipleship, Bible studies, trainings, etc.).
On this team, we have all been called to be on the field, under the direction of our coach, Jesus Christ. But here comes the crucial question: Are you on the field or on the bench? The apostle Paul was not on the bench, so his prayer was that God would give him the right words to be able to boldly share the good news of the gospel.
Pray today: "God... You do it... But do it through me, Lord. Give me more wisdom to bring Your light to the nations. I want to be the instrument that You use today, my King, Jesus."
Today we finish with this devotional reading plan, but not with our commitment to pray for our Andrew Plan list... "I exhort above all, that intercession, prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made for all men; ... For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1, 3-69).
If this reading plan was a blessing to you, I would love for you to share with me by sending me a message on my Instagram, Facebook or TikTok account, where you can find me as @SoyGhinno.
