Pray for Him - 5 Days of Prayer for the Salvation of Friends and FamilySýnishorn
Harriet Tubman's story is a powerful reminder of oppression and the fight for freedom.
Born into slavery, she faced countless abuses and mistreatment. However, her determination and faith led her to escape to freedom in Philadelphia.
But Harriet didn't stop there. She returned to the South several times to rescue other slaves, risking her life each time. She knew where God had brought her from and dedicated the rest of her life to helping others gain their freedom.
Similarly, all of us are born as slaves to sin. But Christ has freed us and paid the price for our rescue. Like Harriet, we now long for others to also experience that freedom in Christ.
This desire drives us to talk to God about people, before talking to those people about God.
Today I encourage you to join "Operation Andrew", which consists of committing to pray for a list of people so that they can know the Gospel.
“40 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter[a]). (John 1:40-42)
Take a moment to make a list of at least 5 people and then pray to God for them: God, show them your love and grant them the freedom found in Christ Jesus.
"In Christ I found the way and the way out: You, you have given me life, being a slave to sin, you shed your blood that has rescued me."
About this Plan
"Pray for Him" has been created with the purpose of strengthening our prayer life and helping us intercede for the salvation of our friends and family. Each day, we will delve into the Word of God to understand His will and His desire for all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
