Drinking Saltwater

DAY 6 OF 6

Day 6: Living Water

Jesus said if anyone thirsts let them come to Him and drink. He promised that if we believe in Him rivers of living water will flow from our hearts. That living water is the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in us. He empowers us to live a life that pleases God. That, my friends, is what we need!

When we drink from the pure waters that our Father provides we no longer have any need for poisonous saltwater. This is because Jesus is the answer to every trigger that might drive us towards pornography.

For loneliness He promises He will never leave us or forsake us. For anxiety and stress He told us to cast all of our burdens on Him. He promised to give us rest. For boredom He told us to go and make disciples of all the nations. He literally has an answer for all of our problems.

Think about your triggers again. How does Jesus provide an answer to your problem? Pray on it. If it’s not obvious, I want you to search the scriptures. Talk to a pastor or a person strong in their faith who can help guide you.

We need to look to Him instead of focusing on our circumstances and trying to address things in our own strength. God’s way solves our problems with no side effects. No guilt or shame comes along with it. Then we can enjoy walking in peace and freedom. Drink from the water that God provides.

I hope this plan has helped you grow closer to God. For more Bible plans like this, and the Do Not Diminish podcast where we discuss deep Christian topics checkout the YouTube link and others at https://linktr.ee/jaygrubz
