Through Exodus

DAY 11 OF 11

The Instructions Done

It's amazing to see Moses reporting in detail the process and products which were completed.  It is Moses evaluating and reporting his findings to God. It also shows Moses being accountable for the task assigned to him.

A project is done only when we evaluate, if what was decided to implement was done in the manner it was planned. Especially in our spiritual walk it is important to follow carefully what God has asked us to do and also to go back and report to God. We expect our kids to come and report to us every detail of what they did especially when we give them a set of instructions.

Training programs have a pre and post evaluation. It is basically the same test given at the beginning and end of the training program to evaluate how much of knowledge was gained by the trainees.  In life we need to have evaluation times when we need to check if we are on track and if we are following the master’s plan. It helps us to change course and accomplish the task God has set out for us.

Our human instinct is ‘my will my way’. When we ask the God of the universe to be our God by accepting Jesus in our hearts. We move to ‘God’s will but it usually is still my way’. There reaches a point in our lives when we realize it is ‘God’s will, God’s way’ which is the best for us. God calls us faithful when we are sticking to His plan His way.

About this Plan

Through Exodus

Going through the book of Exodus will help those who would love to have a thought about the passage they had read that day. This reading plan is aimed at having a systematic study in spite of the not so interesting chapters.
