Chapter 3 –Anointing creates room for You in the presence of Kings.
Joseph, Moses, Esther, Ruth, David, Daniel
What do these names have in common?
All these are the names of people who come from very underprivileged, oppressed, and
demanding situations, and yet, God takes them and places them in the presence of kings.
Did you know that David had no idea what was happening in chapter 16? He even had no idea that the prophet Samuel was coming to his father Jesses house to anoint someone as king. He was always alone. He went shepherding alone, he worshipped alone – but those that rejected him were witnesses to a monumental anointing that in just a few verses, He also finds himself in the king's presence. David found himself in the right place at the right time, doing the right things in the right way, winning favour in the hearts of people and God.
Saul said. "Find me someone who plays well, and bring him here."
One of the servants said to Saul, "One of Jesse's sons from Bethlehem is a talented harp player. He is also a brave warrior, a man of war, and has good judgment. He is also a fine-looking young man, and the Lord is with him. "So David went to Saul and began serving him. Saul loved David very much, and David became his Armor bearer. Then Saul sent word to Jesse, asking, "Please let David remain in my service, for I am very pleased with him."
Same with Esther, God created her room in the presence of the King.
Same with Ruth, She was taken as a wife to the most eligible man Boaz (A picture of Jesus).
Same with Daniel, He was more intelligent than anyone in the kingdom.
Same with YOU!
THE ANOINTING can be seen, and IT will make room for you in the presence of the Kings.
"My Soul Trusts in You – Jesus!"
About this Plan
Discover how you can let the confidence of your life trust in your GOD! Forget about the people, relationships, the job, world news, current affairs, and all the things that seem to slip away from our control. David says, "My soul trusts in you.... For my soul is among the lions (the Godly), and I lie among the men on fire (the prophets)..." and he strengthened himself in the lord when everyone was against him. He always went with the purposes that God put in him rather than the thoughts and strategies that the people tried to push on him. He never let the circumstances affect him, he was a man whose soul trusted in HIM!
