Hope That Restores What's Broken | a 7-Day Doxa Deo PlanSýnishorn
Hope in action
The Bible is full of stories of people living with Hope.
Noah built an ark in obedience to God’s instruction, long before there was any evidence of rain or flooding.
Abraham, trusted God’s promise that he would have a son, even though it took 25 years.
Moses trusted that his people would be set free, despite having to face his biggest fear.
Joseph served his generation by providing food in a severe famine, overcoming dire circumstances and bringing hope to many.
Many more stories have been written of people who lived trusting God with Hope. How different their stories would have been if they had given up on Hope!
HOPE means living with expectancy! Abraham believed and hoped.
Romans 4:18 NIV “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations.”
Romans 4:20-21 NIV “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”
Hope brings JOY! Hope builds faith.
Are you “fully persuaded” that God has the power to do what He has promised?
How can you strengthen your faith, so that you do not waver, but live expectantly?
