DAY 5 OF 18

The Hardened Heart

Proverbs 28:14

Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

The Veryovkina cave is the deepest cave in the world. The depth is 2,212 metres. God’s love is deeper than Veryovkina cave.

The highest mountain in the world is Mount Everest. The peak of Mount Everest is 8,848 meters above sea level. God’s grace is higher than Mt. Everest.

The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest of the world ocean basins. God’s goodness is larger and deeper than the Pacific Ocean.

All those amazing facts will not wow you if you have a hardened heart. When your heart is as hard as a stone, you will not be able to appreciate the beauty of nature around you and slowly you will reject God’s greatness.

Open your heart so that you will be able to acknowledge the greatness of God. Then, your heart will be filled with thankfulness.

So, do not harden your heart. Respond to His love. Let’s worship and obey Him in all the days of our lives.

Prayer

Dear God, help me when my heart has gone hardened without me knowing. I want to open my heart for Your love. Amen.
