You Can Run, but You Can’t Hide

DAY 3 OF 5

We can also build ourselves up in the Lord by reminding ourselves that 'God is faithful.' Reflecting on God's faithfulness and demonstrating gratitude consistently brings tremendous perspective and fruit in a believer's life. There are many illustrations and examples in the Bible when God was faithful and showed up for his people. This is seen not only with the Israelites as a nation but also in individuals' lives. We can look at instances where God had shown up just in time, such as when he rescued Daniel from the mouth of the lion, or when he showed up in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, or when he opened the prison doors at the sound of the prisoner's praises. There are many instances in our own lives where God has been faithful, and it's powerful to remember and celebrate those moments to remind us of God's goodness in our lives.

Question:

Where has God been faithful in your life? Write down a list of times He has shown up for you and give him your thanks and praise for those moments!
