You Can Run, but You Can’t Hide

DAY 2 OF 5

One of the best ways that we can stay strong when we feel like running is to realign ourselves with the Word of God. The Word of God is a lamp unto our feet. It reminds us that we can do all things through His strength, to pray for those who persecute us, and to wait on God’s timing and not to force our own. His timing is perfect in its season. We tend to rush things within our means because we want what we want when we want it. But often, God knows better. Hagar wanted to run, but God promised her that the blessing He would bestow would last for generations if she would just go back and face her problems.

Questions:

1. What is something you are waiting on God for in this season? Have you been tempted to give up?

2. Write down two scriptures from the Word of God that encourage you to keep going and read them to yourself each morning.

About this Plan

You Can Run, but You Can’t Hide

Join Hillsong East Coast’s online experience and walk through this corresponding plan. This plan is based on Pastor Josh Kimes's September 2020 message, "You Can Run, but You Can’t Hide." Read through God’s Word within each devotional and reflect through guided questions for both individual consideration and group discussion. We pray it encourages you to reframe your reality.
