Count the Cost
Nehemiah knew his project required the king’s resources, so he was prepared when the king asked him what he needed. Because of Nehemiah’s preparation, the king granted his requests.
In business, we want to consider the cost. If we do not, we will likely be embarrassed when we run out of money and supplies.
In Luke 14:28 Jesus said, “For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?”
If you’re developing a plan for your business, don’t forget to count the cost. It could save some embarrassment.
