ỤBỌCHỊ 15 NKE 23

Life can feel like a mix of highs and lows. When things begin to feel stressful or difficult, it’s easy to forget about all the good things we experience in our walks with God. But there’s something amazing we need to remember: no matter what is happening around us, Jesus offers us a different kind of joy. Scripture shows a promise to us from Jesus in the book of John that says “no one will take away your joy.” The joy we receive from Jesus is lasting and always around us.

What makes Jesus’ joy more powerful? It’s simple - His joy is equal to His sacrifice for us. The greatest gift of all was when Jesus rose from the dead. He conquered everything that could keep us from an everlasting relationship with God. Because of His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection from the grave, we are invited into a forever relationship with God. This relationship brings joy that goes beyond our day not going according to plan or going better than we ever thought.

Think about a time when you experienced joy that only God could give. Maybe it was during a rough time with a friend but you had peace about having a hard conversation. Those moments remind us of the eternal joy Jesus promises us. We can carry this joy with us, no matter what we face in our day to day lives.

Remember, the joy we get from Jesus isn’t just on our good day, it’s every day. It never fades and it bears no weight on our actions. It’s something we can trust every time.

  • Bottom Line: Jesus promises that no one will take away your joy. The joy He gives is eternal, grounded in His victory over sin and death.
  • Response: Reflect on a time God brought joy into your life and thank Him.
