Once Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood, He called her “Daughter.” But while He was still speaking, He was given a message that Jairus’s daughter had died. When Jesus arrived to heal Jairus’s daughter, He said she was “asleep” (v. 52). He healed her, bringing her spirit back to her, and it’s important to note the contrast here in His parting instructions in verse 56.

Whereas Jesus told the man healed from demon possession to go and tell all that God has done for him in the region of darkness, Jesus told the young girl’s parents to tell no one what had happened. Why do you think Jesus’s instructions after He healed the demoniac man and Jairus's daughter were different?
