Day 4 #SingleGoals: Single, Saved, and Satisfied

Who says being a single Christian means living an unfulfilled, dissatisfied life? No Christian should gauge their destiny or quality of life by relationship status. Your relationship status should neither add nor subtract definition from your identity in Christ.

Your source of fulfillment and satisfaction should be in the relationship that matters most – that which carries eternal significance – your relationship with Jesus Christ. And while our relationship with Jesus does not circumvent relational obligations with our fellow man, our identity must remain independent of said obligations.

Being single does not mean being miserable. Being single does not mean less fulfillment. Being single does not make you odd, cursed, or horrible. In every state we find ourselves – single or married, rich or poor, healthy or sick, divorced or widowed – we all need God’s help to live a life pleasing to Him.

Do not allow the tidal wave of entertainment, media, social media, or life to delude you. You can be single, saved, and satisfied! Your earthly relationship status does not define you, but rather your heavenly status.
