We can be FULL of lots of things. I might be chocolate-FULL because I do eat a lot of chocolate. Some people might be full of joy - Joy-FULL, Care-FULL, Thought-FULL, Beauty-FULL, Grate-FULL, Power-FULL.

When we enjoy God’s presence, we’re full of delight! To delight in something means we enjoy it, we love it, we think it’s fantastic!

In the language of the Old Testament, Hebrew, delight even means “to lean towards”. When we lean towards God, we are drawing near to Him. We lean towards doing things we enjoy doing and we lean towards people we enjoy being around. We can lean towards and enjoy being in God’s presence: taking delight in spending time with Him.

The Bible says how lovely God’s dwelling place is. Blessed are those who dwell in God’s house. Being in God’s presence gives us such joy and such delight. It’s delight-FULL!
