Refined Under PressureIhe Atụ
Day 15: Mission Essential
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
Nehemiah 8:1-18
Reflect
It had been a long time since Israel had been able to hear the Word of God, so Ezra reads to them at their request. How did the people respond when they heard God's Word? Do I make time to thank God for his work in my life? If the joy of the Lord is my strength, how should that change my outlook on life?
Respond
Thank you, God, for your Holy Word. Thank you for the mighty way that you have worked in the past. I pray that you would continue to strengthen me now and in the future. Amen.
