Eternity
Our salvation comes in two parts. The first is when we trust Jesus. Jesus says we passed from death into life. Essentially, eternal life began then. Here Paul talks about the completion of our salvation when we are given glorified bodies in heaven. Because eternity is so overwhelmingly wonderful, he considers every honor received and loss suffered to be nothing by comparison.
