Be Strong And Of A Good CourageIhe Atụ
Be Strong.
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Strong” is, ‘chazaq’ (H2388) which means, “To strengthen, prevail, harden, be strong, become strong, be courageous, be firm, grow firm, or to be resolute.” Stay rooted in His Word. Stay grounded in His principles and precepts. Stay connected to Him. Choose to be strong in the Lord.
Strength comes when you are connected. Endurance comes when you are connected. Strength isn’t developed overnight. Strength training is a compilation of daily decisions to follow and pursue God with all of your heart. Choose to follow God with all of your might. Choose to be strong. Strength is a choice.
Notice Strong’s definition of, “Strong”, “To become strong.” Every great athlete trains and develops his or her body for battle. Choose to deliberately target your weak areas. Deliberately focus on executing God’s Word daily. Choose to proactively deploy daily diligence principles. Execute in private and God will reward you publicly. Let God’s Word expose and strengthen your weak and underdeveloped areas.
Execute consistently. Execute in a disciplined manner. Any great athlete conditions his or her body consistently in order to have optimal results when it’s time to perform. Strengthen your underdeveloped areas.
The development of your spiritual stamina and endurance undergoes the same training process as any athlete. Focus, meditate, and dwell upon the Word day and night. Discipline is a choice. Strengthening is a choice. Diligence is targeted. Choose to equip yourself with the Word of God and diligently execute upon it day and night. Strengthening your inner man is a choice. Choose to willfully surrender every area of your heart to God.
