Faithful Love.
The prison is not a beautiful place to be at. Who would want to be living in a prison? No one. The people there are not nice, the food there don't taste good and the place are simply not nice. Joseph, during his lifetime, lived for some time in a prison. Did he enjoy his stay? Surely not. It has to be one of the lowest moments in Joseph's life and it must have been hard for Joseph to go through life in prison. However, despite the fact that Joseph's situation is so bad, God still showed His faithful love to Joseph. God made Joseph the prison warden's favorite. How cool is that? It is obvious that what Joseph really wanted was for God to get him out of there, but God has a different plan for him.
God's love to us is faithful. His love never changes no matter what our lives' circumstances are. We may be going through a tough time right now because our lives didn't go according to how we planned. Well, don't sweat it because God has a better plan. He may not show it in a way that fits what we want, but He will always shower us with His love, in His way and in His time. Should we choose to see our circumstances, or shouldn't we just set our eyes on God's faithful love?
