Kita sudah mengenal dan percaya akan kasih Allah kepada kita. Allah itu mahakasih. Jadi, bila kita terus mengasihi saudara-saudari kita, berarti kita tetap bersatu dengan Allah, dan Allah bersatu dengan kita. Waktu kita hidup bersatu dengan Allah, kasih Allah semakin nyata dan sempurna di antara kita. Dengan begitu, kita tidak takut lagi akan Hari Pengadilan, karena terbukti bahwa kita sudah mengasihi sama seperti Kristus mengasihi.
