Paul's letter to Titus is believed to have been written whilst Paul was a missionary in the Mediterranean, likely around AD 63.

Titus was a Greek believer who stood before the church leaders in Jerusalem as a living example of what Christ was doing among the Gentiles. He was a trusted companion and friend of Paul's. This letter was Paul instructing Titus how to organise and lead churches and warn him against false teachers. This is an important link in the discipleship process, helping young Titus grow into his leadership within the Church.
