Jesus, I Need You Part 8નમૂનો
QUIET MOMENT
We are to be the light of Christ to expose the deeds of darkness. What are Paul’s instructions to us?
GOING DEEPER
Our saltiness and the brilliance of Christ in our lives is a direct outgrowth of who is at the center of our hearts and our affections. Is there anyone more wonderful, loving, caring, or powerful, than our Lord Jesus Christ? How much do you enjoy being in His presence?
The only way we can let the light shine before men is if we have been basking in the light. When you spend time sitting at His feet the joy of being in His presence will be a natural result. You will exude joy! You will exude Christ! You will be the salt of the earth. You will be the light of the world! You will be a city on a hill! Here is a simple analogy. You can tell when a couple is in love. There is a radiance about them that fills the room. When we are madly in love with Jesus Christ we will be filled with joy. That joy and His very presence will overflow into every room we enter, into every circumstance, and into every relationship. The light of Christ will shine and it will shine brightly. Read Psalm 4:7, Psalm 5:11, Psalm 16:11, and Psalm 19:8. As you read, ask the Lord to fill you with the joy of His presence.
REFLECTION AND PRAYER
May we love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength. All to the glory of God! And may many see and fear and know that He is God. In closing, pray Psalm 40:3.
TAKE THE TRUTH TO HEART AND BRING THE TRUTH TO LIFE
Choose one truth from today and apply it to your heart. Take it with you throughout the day.
