The Kingdom of Jordan is steeped in Biblical history, holding significant religious importance for Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Despite its rich religious heritage, Christians constitute only a small fraction of the 11,000,000 population, with the majority of citizens identify as Muslims. While the government allows religious diversity, societal influences sometimes restrict it, particularly for converts to Christianity. Much of the current work of spreading the Gospel is taking place among the 6,000,000 refugees from various parts of the world who now reside in Jordan.

Efforts for interfaith dialogue and media ministry are underway, with social media, Christian satellite TV, and radio broadcasts proving effective. However, significant portions of the population remain unreached by the Gospel with only a fraction of house churches engaging meaningfully with Jordanians. Prayer for the spread of the Good News and for the empowerment of believers to minister effectively in Jordan is crucial.

Prayer Points to Consider:

• Break generational strongholds in Jesus’ name of fear, pride, betrayal, jealousy, distrust, disunity, and rejection, asking that supernatural joy will replace each of these things, revealing the Father’s heart toward Jordan’s people.
• Pray for the various streams of Christian fellowships and churches for their unity, growth, encouragement, Holy Spirit empowerment, and the authority of God’s Word.
• Pray for the millions of refugees living in the region so that rather than feeling displaced and disregarded, they would encounter the living God.
• Ask Lord Jesus to continue revealing Himself to both Muslims and Jews in dreams, visions, healings, and acts of kindness. These occurrences are taking place currently and often, transforming individuals’ lives for the Gospel.
• Ask Lord Jesus for the salvation of Muslims that not only causes their lives to be fulfilled in Him but also causes a jealousy in the eyes of their brothers, the Jews, for the Lord. That their eyes will be opened to the truth of the Messiah.

Father God, our Creator…I pray for the refugees in Jordan who have been displaced and disregarded. Prince of Peace, we request that You reveal Yourself to these individuals and families in miraculous and tangible ways and to Jordan’s citizens. Holy Spirit, please help believers and workers to live Romans 14:19 lives, building bridges of peace, connection, and belonging, revealing Your love and power to everyone they meet. I declare the freedom and the peace of Christ where war, famine, strife, and fear have reigned, restoring ancient foundations of Biblical faith and sending laborers into the harvest, for the time of Your return is near. In the Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!
